  • Optional Personal Statement: Dr. Ibrahim obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney, Australia and received his postgraduate orthopaedic surgery training at the University Hospitals of Leicester, United Kingdom. Dr. Ibrahim was the clinical lecturer in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Leicester and undertook his paediatric orthopaedic surgery training at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, London and the Hospital of Sick Children, Toronto. In addition to the above, Dr. Ibrahim has spent time at the Russian Illizarov Scientific Centre in Kurgan, Russia and the Paley Advanced Limb Lengthening Institute, Florida, USA. Dr. Ibrahim obtained his Fellowships from The Royal College of Surgeons of England and The Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Ibrahim has completed a postgraduate research degree in basic sciences and taught masters of medical statistics from the University of Leicester. Dr. Ibrahim is currently consultant pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Hamad Medical Corporation and assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College, Qatar. Dr. Ibrahim’s clinical interests include reconstructive surgery of the hip in children and limb reconstruction and lengthening.
