Sarah Twomey

Member
International Advisory Committee

Sarah Twomey is the Founder and Chairperson of Healthy Hips Australia a nationally registered not-for-profit organization working to improve awareness, support and early diagnosis for hip dysplasia in Australia. Despite being an occupational therapist, when both her daughters were diagnosed, Sarah found herself overwhelmed and uninformed about the condition, and how best to manage with the day-to-day challenges posed during treatment. Working closely with several paediatric Orthopaedic services and specialists across Australia since 2015, Sarah and Healthy Hips are thrilled to align with the global mission of the IHDI.
