Betsy is a wife, mother of two, and advocate who is passionate about providing support, education, and resources to families affected by pediatric hip dysplasia as well as raising related awareness on a broader scale. Inspired by her daughter’s journey which included surgical intervention, Betsy has made it her mission to educate herself and others on a variety of hip dysplasia topics including early screening, prevention, treatment, use of hip healthy products, and more. A natural-born connector, Betsy created the U.S. spica gear group on Facebook as well as Sips for Hips Washington, a successful fundraiser that raised over $20,000 for the IHDI. Betsy lives in the Seattle area, works as a recruiting/talent acquisition professional, and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration.
