Cara Whitney first became aware of hip dysplasia when her son Wyatt was born with the condition. She quickly came to find that not only is hip dysplasia very common, but also that there was very little universal information out there about the condition. The IHDI was born out of the idea that parents and patients have access to the best, most trusted, universal information. The IHDI is where people can be best informed about hip dysplasia patient options and care. Cara lives with her husband, Dan, and two kids on a horse farm in Nebraska.
