  • Specific training in hip dysplasia: Dr. Sucato completed a traveling fellowship in hip preservation surgery in Bern, Switzerland with Professor Reinhold Ganz.  Dr.  Sucato has significant experience performing hip preservation surgery including the surgical hip dislocation approach and hip preservation osteotomies on the femoral and the acetabular side of the joint.  I have also published extensively in this area and am a member of the Academic Network for Conservational Hip Outcomes Research (ANCHOR) group – a multi-institutional study group of hip preservation surgeons.
