The IHDI would like to invite you to one of the Orlando Health Speaker Series meetings! To give you some background on Orlando Health and the IHDI; we are an individual organization operating under the non-profit umbrella of Orlando Health. They have been wonderful supporters of the IHDI since the very beginning and have continued supporting us as our international reach and ability to help areas of the world struggling with DDH continue to increase. The presenter for this class, Dr. Jose Herrera-Soto, MD, is both an Orlando Health Physician and part of the IHDI Medical Advisory Board. Here are the details of the free meeting and a link to participate.

Most people aren’t familiar with the term “hip dysplasia.” Hip dysplasia means that the bones of the hip joint are not aligned correctly. In this session, you will hear from one of our orthopedic surgeons on how hip dysplasia (the number one birth abnormality in the world) in infancy can potentially lead to hip replacements later in life.
